Dr. C. Camille Christian is locally trained receiving her medical degree over 25 years ago at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica. She further trained in Internal Medicine then completed her fellowship in Cardiology in Toronto, Canada. She is currently the Head of Cardiology at the largest public institution in Jamaica, where she first fulfilled her dream to improve access to cardiac care by forming a Cardiology Unit there. She is passionate about improving cardiac screening by providing affordable cardiac evaluations to all levels of society. Although she has
been providing this for over 12 years, it was formalized in July, 2020 with the birth of Kingston Heart Centre. The goal is to improve access to basic cardiac evaluations such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress testing, holter and blood pressure
ambulatory tests by improving affordability and maintaining quality.
